I saw a meme photo floating around the Internet at some point that suggested you write down all the good things that happen in a year and place them in a jar to open on New Year’s Eve. I thought it was a fantastic idea. It’s so easy to forget all the “little things” throughout the year. The great report card grades, the fun “date nights” with your significant other, the little league wins, the big scores at work – you get the idea.
So I made what I am calling “The Awesomesauce Jar” for 2015. I used a large gallon-sized Ball Mason Jar (available here on Amazon) because it fit the theme of my kitchen (and it was large, and I have high hopes for this year).
The sign was made from a free template that was included with Microsoft Word. You can find this specific template by clicking: File > New from Template > Signs > Sale Sign and editing it however you want. You can download the exact version I used in the above photo here. Or you can simply create any template you want.
I printed my template out on card stock and then cut the edges off the tops and bottoms so that it would fit the jar I used. My end result is shown below.
I can’t wait to see what this year brings. Happy New Year Y’all! 😉
